At the helm of Bahama Cool is Mario S. Brown Sr., who brings over twenty-four years of experience and an extensive background covering a wide range of HVAC equipment types and complexities.
After pursuing an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from the then College of The Bahamas (now The University of The Bahamas), Mario decided to focus his studies on Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration through technical training at The Bahamas Technical & Vocational Institute.
He officially began his field experience as an apprentice at All Brands Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration, which was, at the time, one of Nassau’s largest Bahamian-owned HVAC companies. After completing his two-year apprenticeship, he gained employment as an HVAC mechanic with Hill York Limited, an international industry leader in the Bahamas since the late ’60s. With experience gained on larger commercial systems, he then transitioned to Clarion’s South Ocean Resort as an Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration Technician.
